"Law & Order" Star Richard Belzer Will Headline 7th Annual New York Underground Comedy Festival
NEW YORK, NY, September 22, 2009 - "Law & Order" star and legendary comedian Richard Belizer will headline the 7th Annual New York Underground Comedy Festival (www.nycundergroundcomedyfestival.com ) which takes place from October 3rd - 12th.
"There can be nothing better than performing for a hip audience and that's what you get in New York City at the Underground Comedy Festival. I couldn't be more excited!" said Richard Belzer.
Belzer will be performing at the Green Room Theater (45 Bleecker St) on Saturday, October 3rd, at 9:30 pm. Tickets are $45.

About Richard Belzer
Richard Belzer began his career in show business with a starring role in Groove Tube, the counterculture film that went on to become a cult classic. Since then, Belzer's comedic talents have been featured in every entertainment medium from off-Broadway (The National Lampoon Show with Bill Murray, Gilda Radner and John Belushi) to radio (Brink and Belzer on WNBC) to film (Fame, Author, Author, Night Shift and Scarface). He also appeared as himself in the Andy Kaufman biopic Man on the Moon. His other film credits include Scarface, Species II, Get on the Bus, Girl 6, A Very Brady Sequel, North, The Bonfire of the Vanities and The Big Picture.
